Now I am Not Certain that there is a Cure to Sweaty Palms but I am Confident that Sweat Can be Reduced
So I will attack this holistically and try to balance my body back from stress into a more relaxed and natural state :) (at least I hope so)
I will specifically do this by using changing my diet and exercising
Stop Sweating Diet (hopefully)
I will be following the Paleo style of eating that learned in the Primal Blueprint
Specifically I will Be Reducing Grain Comsumption Massively (So very little tortillas, bread, rice, etc..)
The only exception to this is that I will eat grains (good quality ones) when I workout, reason being is that I will need the extra energy to go trough my workouts (you’ll see why down below)
So Lots of Fat, Meats, and Vegetables will Be My Main source of Food with grains being my secondary fuel source
The reason why I will reduce grains is not only because that is the Paleo style of doing things, but because I do feel better when not consuming them since I am a fast oxidizer (which means I have a high metabolism and lots of grains will transform onto sugar which will give me lots of energy and if I don’;t use it, I can be very hyper, with a carb crash after a few hours, so in order to not get the crash I will workout intensely to use up all that extra energy optimally)
wohh that’s a long description so in short, I have high metabolism and grain consumption will make me super sugar hyper so in order for that to not happen I will use all that extra energy during my workouts (ah that’s better)
If you feel that you are not doing too great following the Primal Blueprint guidelines eat more fat, meats and vegetables (they won’t make you fat) (too much unused energy from grans and sweets will make you fat)
If that doesn’t make you feel better, then eat some rice and sweet potatoes (you might do better in a diet with a more balanced approach of carbs, proteins and fats, and of course lots of veggies to cleanse everything and make you feel better)
If you think eating veggies is a hassle, then juice them up:
I personally have a Vita Mix (not the cheapest blender but a worthy investment in my health) and just throw in some broccoli, spinach, kale, carrots, and a fruit like half an apple or a pear and drink it up afterwards
the little sweetness from the fruit makes it taste awesome and you won’t have to gabble down all veggies on your plate, just juice them up and drink them up to get them out of the way, simple and fast!
Moving on…
The Cure My Sweaty palms Workout
It would be cool if that really was all you needed to do: workout in order to sweat less, but hell no that doesn’t happen (at least not during the actual workout)
Here is why I think working out is a crucial step into curing excessive sweat:
Our specific hyperactive sweaty bodies are out of whack, meaning our hormones are messed up and hyper active (you probably already know that) that’s why your hands sweat uncontrollably (they are hyperactive)
When one workouts out we stress the body to create a catabolic response (meaning to break down) which is the opposite of what we want, BUT…
in order to have an anabolic response (recovery and building up) we must have something to provoke that, so:
Working out Insistently will force your body to turn on those hormones that need to be active during the day and as the day passes trough it will have that anabolic or building up response
so we must provoke that recovery response which will balance out your hormones (it’s a complex and somewhat mysterious system, so just be mindful that by working out and eating clean will balance out your hormones, make them work efficiently and bring them back to alignment)
That’s my holistic theory
I know these 2 actions will work to give you a better looking body and make you feel good: 2 actions that will increase your confidence and turn on a lot of good hormones that need to be working efficiently, but aren’t because of poor communication due to inactivity, bad food, stress, and worrying too much about your sweaty palms
For the workout I will be using The lean Hybrid Muscle Building Program & I know some of you might be intimidated by it so I would recommend you do bodyweigth exercises to start off (they can get intense with the right programing) but am all about keeping it simple & if you want to go the home gym or bodyweigth route you can check out:
- Truth About Abs (Great Program to Get Fit at the Gym or by Making your Own Home Mad Gym, And Endless Crunches are not required :D
- or Zuska Ligth’s YouTube Channel, she has cool intense workouts that you can do at home!
Which ever program you pick (or if you are currently doing one, always make sure to warm up to not injure yourself and have all movements be more efficient
You’ll just see that working out and eating clean will make you feel good and increase confidence
and hopefully as time passes and you balance out the communication side your body, your hyperactive stress on your sweat glands goes back to balance
OK so Here are the Simple Action Steps for You to Follow (I will too)
- Drinks Tons of Water (carry bottles with you everywhere) (H2O is super important for your body so it’s hormones communicate efficiently with one another: something we must balance out)
- Eat Lots of Fats and Meats (good quality ones) plus tons Veggies (juice them up if you must) – limit grains (as they might inflammation you and cause lots of hormones to go crazy) but if you need your carbs follow my recommendations above
- Stop Worrying so much, seriously just take responsibility for the actions and stuff that happens to you, and stop bitching about being miserable and cursed with sweaty hands, yeah you have them, now do something about it! – Use your energy to empower yourself not make you depressed

- Go out more often: a simple 20 min walk at the park would be good to get in the grove, take your kids or your friends and just have FUN, smile and forget about your palms, just play and let go
- Workout: pick one of the programs i recommended, if not keep following the one you currently are doing, but the most important thing to do is to JUST MOVE: 10-15 min is all you require (plus you’ll feel awesome after doing a light workout, guaranteed)
- And lastly: Be Grateful, yeah you have hyperhidrosis, so what? at least you have palms and are alive, do the best you can and don’t let your palms ever get in the way
That’s It!
My Hope is that all this will bring your stress levels and body communication back to balance, but if it doesn’t, oh well at least you got leaner, and have more energy from eating cleaner, not a bad outcome :)
I will report back in a month my progress:)
Take Action & Feel free to ask me anything about these (please don’t get stressed out by having to workout and eat cleaner: just take simple actions, they don’t have to be big or perfect, but you just have to start it)
Just follow a plan and stick with it (it will work if you stay committed, just keep it simple and stress free)
Let me know how this workouts for you! :) & any questions drop them below!
